I left as soon as they scored their third.

It was the earliest that I have ever left a match since the 80’s away match at Brighton when we were 3-0 down in the pouring rain at halftime, on the open away end at the Goldstone Ground.

Mex it comes to something when we have to rely on a goalkeeper to have any chance of picking points up in this league, that’s because we are bottom of every stat going have a bunch of average over paid players sitting on easy street and an old unmotivated manager who’s best days were a decade ago. Our recruitment is terrible, the training facilities are terrible and we have owners with no vision other than how to line their own pockets. The owners deserve relegation.

Left after 65m yesterday, earliest I have ever left by some miles after over 40 years of attending. Would’ve gone after 49 to be honest but couldn’t do it.

Well said Master.

It’s all coming to boiling point over there again. A lot of the old brigade were fighting with the stewards to get let OUT of the bowl before HT (as they’d fenced off a ‘smoking area’ behind the West Side). That’s what it’s come to.
All the abuse has gotta be aimed at the no-good lying scumbag board (not the naive Games maker volunteers/stewards!)

And it will.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Spurs - The Official Match Thread
The keeper doesn't understand the game. Can't close angles, is relying on his instincts and reaction saves.

When we scored our first goal, with 20 mins left, the first player to try to pick the ball out of the net was the corner taker Snodgrass. None of the other players in the box went to collect it. They are not coached at all to be mentally engaged with the match.

Yarmolenko caused our first goal. Yes plenty went on after, but his poor weak ball out to Haller should never have been played. Just like his smash across the pitch to nobody, he is a lazy lazy player. He doesn't even jump for goal kicks, he just stretches upwards and get beaten. I genuinely think he might have a disability as he isn't able to use one side of his body at all.

Anderson was pathetic yesterday. At one point we were attacking near the spuds box and he was on the halfway line with Cresswell next to him. He just couldn't be bothered to get up there. That said, Yarmolenko should've been taken off first and Antonio may have created some space for Anderson to work in and not pussy out of tackles. Our manager is a tactical idiot.

Antonio comes on to player left side / forward. This whole inverted wingers bollocks only works if they are pacey. Our starting 2 aren't, hell they aren't even wingers. Then after 10 minutes our genius manager negates his whole half time tactical message (as if there was one) and moved Antonio to the right wing (even though he'd been effective through the middle where he'd decided to play) and Fornals plays number 10 to little effect. Pellegrini has no tactics.

Fornals looked ok, but nothing worthy of a place in the team at all. Anybody scouting him would identify he's not a premier league player.

Worst of all is Diop. When Kane scored, Diop was bullied yet again. We've seen he gets bullied over and over. He isn't coached to deal with it and improve his game. But worst, he tried to flick that cross back and over his head. The bend and shape of the ball in meant the header required was clearly to meet it full on and head it back where it came from or over the bar. That's a central defenders 101. That kind of knowledge again comes from coaching. He is regressing as a player because he isn't being coached to be a better player.

Pellegrini and his whole team need to go ASAP.

Just saw the Shearer analysis on MOTD
As he said it was just like the Newcastle game and embarrassing in the lack of effort.
There is no coming back from that sort of performance when it’s been going on since Oxford and nothing is improving. It’s getting worse and Pellegrini is asleep at the wheel

Just watched the highlights. If we don’t go down, it will only be because of Antonio and Fabianski.

I’m sick of the whole thing - fans spending their hard-earned money to watch multi-millionaires take the piss year after year.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Spurs - The Official Match Thread
The way we are going at the moment we WILL concede 3 (or more) goals in every match.
And never look like scoring 4 we would need to win.
You don’t need to be someone who has managed Madrid & Man City to work out how that is going to end up.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Spurs - The Official Match Thread
What’s that? 9 goals conceded in 3 games? From memory Sheffield United is the only recent game we haven’t conceded at least 2.

You’re never gonna win games defending like that. All MP does is change personnel, never the approach.

Said about ten times, he doesn’t know how to turn this around.

I have blindly followed this great Club since 1965.
I don't think I have ever been so disgusted, at half time, with what I saw during the first half.
Gutless, waste of space parasites who do not deserve to wear our shirt.
I use the word blindly and now it is obvious to anyone that MP has lost all control of the players and dressing room.
When he took off Diop ,who last year was labelled a monster and put on Sanchez, said it all.
Totally clueless and how many times must you pull off a player bought for 42m at half time.??
This Club is run and managed by morons, we all know that ,but the gutless way we do SFA about it is enough for me.
I salute all you guys who pay their hard earned cash to watch this level of rubbish every week and the time has come to go back to supporting my boyhood club.Maidstone Utd.
Says it all.

I saw Lampard's interview after their game yesterday, instead of shrugging his shoulders and mumbling he was pissed that they lost narrowly to the champions away from home, and said he's 'back on it Monday' They will carve our fraudsters apart.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Spurs - The Official Match Thread
I think you are falling into the trap that Pellegrini is by believing that the 2-3 score line means we were competitive.
We were cut apart in the first half ... a couple of Rice last ditch tackles stopped it being 4-0 at half time.
We created nothing. Anderson & Yarmolenko wouldn’t or couldn’t run or compete or present any threat while Haller lost every ball played to him.
We looked like conceding every time they had the ball and only when Antonio came on did we show any energy or effort.
Even then we look disjointed and don’t seem as though the players have met let alone to have any strategy as to how we would combine to score.
And that’s in front of a keeper who concede 3+ goals in every Prem league game.
It looks very much like the dying days of Bilic.
No one is running or working and teams just walk through us. Today and the Newcastle game reminded me of the 0-3 v Brighton under Bilic.
We are done, cooked & finished under Pellegrini.
It’s not turning around and nothing is changing.
It’s Chelsea & Wolves away and then Arsenal at home next.
I don’t think anyone would see a point in any of those
It’s over for Pellegrini

jfk, you go 1 goal down like that, as in too many games and it is crap. Fabianski would save that and it would be a different game. We don’t need superman, just a goalie of Premier League standard that can make a save when the ball is kicked straight at him.

I must say I admire your enthusiasm.Fabs a terrific keeper and I can't wait to see him back but he ain't superman. The 2-3 result flattered us.As much as it pains me to admit Tottenham were worthy winners and some.We are a shit side behind only Norwich on current form.Norwich will be relegated.

A lot of bollocks being said here. We would have drawn and maybe have won with Fabianski in goal. It’s will be very painful, but we have to wait for Fabianski to come back before things improve. It will be crap season, but we will not go down and we should definitely stay with Pellegrini.
